We are a multi-disciplinary team tackling nutrition and food related issues through research.
FSMRI is a research consulting business meeting the information needs of businesses and organizations producing and scaling nutritional products. The company provides technical and research solutions to private and public-sector stakeholders involved in developing, producing, distributing, and scaling food commodities, focusing on public health nutrition. FSMRI has empaneled a team of consultants with expertise in food systems, public health nutrition, agriculture, climate and natural resource management, supply chain management, and food technology. Our specialized services include qualitative and quantitative research studies such as impact assessments, market coverage surveys, feasibility studies, scalability studies, and training needs assessments, in the nutrition and allied sectors.

His work spans across 20 countries, including some fragile/transitioning states. He has undertaken evaluation assignments for USAID, Global Fund and other international organizations and have advised the Abu Dhabi, India, South Korea and Tajikistan governments on health policies, and public health programs.

Dr. Modupe holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the ‘University of Toronto’ focused on food engineering and has been involved in the process scale-up and technology transfer initiatives within the food industry.

She is also a certified agriculture assayer and have led training on sustainable agricultural practices, farm mechanization, crop residue management (carbon credits), and agri-retail and e-commerce.
